Creative Contemporary Dance Program
Overview
The Creative Contemporary Dance program consists of training in technical skills and creative expression.
We draw on body language and intuition for a psychosomatic approach towards understanding the self.
Creative Class
Our main program is a blend of contemporary technique and creative expression/improvisation. Through it, we explore the elements of dance based on Laban Movement Analysis to explore different aspects of self expression and creating movements.
By not having to perform a set choreographed movements, we are more able to focus on applying movement techniques or releasing certain emotions.

EXPERIENCE Soul Dance
Our method
We apply improvisation for most of our classes, and even include them into technique and choreography class. We believe in allowing the body the space to explore the possible application of what was learned, express their own creativity , as well as discovering new possibilities beyond what was taught.
It allows for a sense of freedom and integration in the body, a more harmonious approach towards working with the body.
Who is it suitable for?
- Late teens, young adults, to middle-agers – with reasonable levels of fitness and strong interest in Creative Contemporary Dance training.
